Leadership
As Founder of Moo Moo Express Car Wash, Roush was responsible for the research, planning, branding and development of the award-winning car wash chain. Under his leadership, Moo Moo has grown to 26+ Central Ohio locations since 2008. Roush is also the Co-founder of Flying Ace Express Car Wash and Clean Express Auto Wash.
Roush currently serves as the CEO of Express Wash Concepts, the parent company of Moo Moo Express, Flying Ace Express, Clean Express Auto Wash, Green Clean Express Auto Wash and Bee Clean Express Car Wash. Under his leadership, the company now operates more than 80 express car washes across Ohio, Indiana, Pennsylvania, Virginia and North Carolina.
Roush attended Ohio State University and was recently named a 2020 Columbus Business First C-Suite Award honoree, is a 2019 Columbus Chamber Small Business Leader Award Finalist and former International Carwash Association Board Member.
As Partner and Chief Development Officer, Van Bremen is responsible for EWC’s multi-brand development strategy, site selection, real estate development/construction, and data transformation/analysis. Under his leadership, EWC has responsibly managed its high-growth development of more than 40 locations across its footprint.
Van Bremen earned his Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Aviation from Ohio University. He is a U.S. Air Force Veteran having served in both Operation Enduring and Iraqi Freedom.
As Chief Financial Officer, Allender is responsible for managing EWC’s financial activities to include reporting, forecasting and growth predictions. Prior to joining EWC, Allender was an essential part in growing American Freight Furniture’s business from 125 stores to over 350.
Allender earned his bachelor’s degree in Accounting from John Carroll University.
Currently, Favuzzi is responsible for leading change management initiatives, developing leaders and aligning HR strategies with overall business objectives for more than 975 EWC team members in the field and Home Office.
Favuzzi earned a master’s degree in Labor and Employment Law from Tulane University Law School and holds an MBA in Leadership from Franklin University.
Martin is responsible for EWC’s multi-brand marketing communications strategy and execution. She serves as a car wash industry publication columnist, and is a regular podcast and conference marketing panel contributor.
Martin received her Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism with an emphasis in Public Relations from Bowling Green State University.
Casto joins EWC following 13 years at Cheryl’s Cookies, a subsidiary of 1-800-Flowers.com, where she excelled as the retail division’s Director of Operations for more than a decade before transitioning to serve as the Operations Director in the custom and logo division.
Casto earned a bachelor of science degree in business administration operations management from the Fisher College of Business at The Ohio State University.
David’s primary focus is to serve the Operations team providing every site with a high quality reliable wash experience. He is very proud of the Service, Warehouse, and Facility team that diligently supports the organization and is always making improvements to set new industry standards.
Williams earned his bachelor of science degree in Electrical Engineering from Clarkson University.
Finkes is responsible for all aspects of financial planning & analysis including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow projections, pro forma site analytics, business-decision support, and long-range planning. Prior to joining EWC, Finkes played a key role at American Freight Furniture, helping to modernize & expand FP&A capabilities in addition to his role as chief of staff to the CEO.
Finkes earned his undergraduate degree in Finance from the Fisher College of Business at The Ohio State University.
As Technical Director, Slade helps the service team at critical times or on special projects and installs and helps the EWC team with technical support.
Slade earned a BA and BSBA from Ohio Northern University.
As the Human Resource Director, Sharon oversees HR functions, including employee relations, leave of absences, workman compensation, safety and training. Sharon brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her role.
Sharon earned her bachelor’s degree in business administration from Mount Vernon Nazarene and is SHRM-SCP certified.
At EWC, her primary role is to oversee the recruitment and onboarding processes within the company. This involves developing, implementing, and evaluating comprehensive programs aimed at effectively sourcing, hiring, and integrating new talent. Key responsibilities include formulating sustainable talent acquisition strategies, providing leadership and training to the recruiting team, collaborating with department heads to identify staffing needs, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations, optimizing employee referral programs, pioneering innovative recruitment solutions, managing vendor relationships, supervising prescreening procedures, conducting new hire surveys, facilitating internal promotion interviews, enhancing candidate experience and retention, managing the candidate and hiring manager experience, implementing talent programs such as internships and referral initiatives, and creating compelling recruiting material.
As Controller, Karla is responsible for managing EWC’s accounting activities to include daily operational transactions, reconciliations, month-end procedures and assist with yearly audits. Prior to joining EWC, Karla was a Group Controller for an automotive dealership group composed of 8 dealerships. Within this role, Karla implemented new accounting processes and procedures across all entities in order to accommodate a 5-day close period.
Karla earned her bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the Minnesota School of Business/Globe University.
